This Data Privacy Policy describes how parentsatwork GmbH handles personal information collected through the site www.parentsatwork.com, registration lists to our events and mailing lists. More precisely, it describes what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Personal information you disclose to us
Personal information that you provide to us via your registration to our events and to our newsletter. The interface we are using for that reason is wix’s online forms and the ascend app.

Information automatically collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Site. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Site and other technical information. This website also uses LinkedIn and Facebook cookies to measure the impact of our social media campaigns to continuously improve our activities in supporting working parents and transforming workplace culture. Here as well, IP anonymization is activated.

parents@work App

Clowder provides to us a Clowder branded software application that we use as part of our services. If you visit or use our Clowder branded application, Clowder may, on our behalf, collect and use information about you. Clowder only uses this information about you according to our instructions and direction. If you have questions about how we store or use your information, please visit our privacy policy and our terms of use.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

We will retain your personal information on our systems only for as long as we need it, given the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to do so by law. We keep contact information (such as mailing list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that we delete that information.

Unsubscribe
If you want to unsubscribe from mailing lists or any registrations, you should look for and follow the instructions we have provided in the relevant communications to you.

If you choose to unsubscribe from any or all mailings, we may retain information sufficient to identify you so that we can honour your request.

If you have other registrations with parentsatwork GmbH, or have provided your information to us through other means (such as subscribing to a newsletter), those registrations will be maintained unless you take specific action to inform us to cease contacting you.

Any user generated content that you may have created before then will not be anonymised following deactivation, nor will it be immediately removed from our systems or records.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We endeavour to protect personal data, but we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to or by us.
